Art & Craft Workshops at Bradley Hall Rural Escapes
Come along to the old dairy at Bradley Hall Rural Escapes and enjoy a few hours of painting or crafting. There is something for everyone, whether it’s doing some relaxing dotty or doodle art with a ‘BYOB’ glass of wine, or learning a new skill such as linocutting or painting.
These are a great add-on to your stay. Try your hand at something new… or if you’re an experienced crafter or artist come and join us in some relaxing “me-time” with like-minded folk.
No experience is necessary!
Courses will be led by Jo, a professional artist and designer with over 30 years of experience.
Bespoke group workshops can be arranged from the list of activities we provide, on a date to suit.

Crafty Workshops 2023 Workshop Descriptions
Original Design Hoop Embroidery £35 – Lose yourself in the relaxing art of embroidery. Stitch an original design using a variety of colourful threads. The design is already drawn on the fabric for you and you’ll be shown some simple, but effective stitches. No experience is needed. 3 hrs
Slogan Embroidery £35 – Embroider a slogan such as “Loved”, “XOXO” or “Happy” onto fabric in a hoop. 3hrs
Mindful Doodle Art…Go with the Flow £25 – Take some time out and get immersed in this adult creative doodling. Come away with a doodle masterpiece. There is no right or wrong way of doing this. 2 hrs
Easy Linocut and Print: Tea Towel or Bag £40 – Cut out your own design from soft cut Lino then print onto a tea towel or fabric tote bag. If you don’t want to design your own motif you can use ones we have here. 3hrs
Easy Linocut and Print: Wrapping Paper £40 – Design and cut your design from soft lino then go to town printing your own wrapping paper. 3hrs
Mindful Dotty Art (Pointillism) £25 – Relax and enjoy a few hours creating a design using pen dots. You’ll be shown how to blend colours and create shapes. No experience is needed. 3hrs
Please feel free to bring along any drinks and snacks to add to your experience. Tea/coffee and cake or biscuits will be provided at each session and are included in the price.
